Bantams at Barford Farm House
Like the idea of having a regular supply of fresh and delicious eggs throughout much of the year? Then why not consider keeping bantam hens, known for their friendly character and suitability as children’s pets. We at Barford Farm have been enjoying them for the past twelve years and are happy to impart our knowledge of hen keeping to any of our guests who express an interest in them. For many years we have relied on the natural mothering instincts of bantam hens to build up our own flock. However, in 2010 we invested in a small incubator and are now in a position to hatch eggs supplied from our own flock. If you think you might like to purchase bantams from us, please let us know at the time of booking and we will endeavour to hatch them well in advance of your arrival.
