"A gem of a holiday cottage"
The Barn is one of Hampshire's finest holiday cottages (4* Enjoy England) providing comfortable and clean self catering accommodation for 2 adults and up to 2 small children in the village of Medstead within rural Hampshire. Situated between Alton and Alresford it enjoys panoramic views towards Winchester and across Hampshire's South Downs. Located on the periphery of England's newest National Park, The South Downs, the surrounding countryside offers ideal walking and cycling oppportunities with a good network of footpaths and bridleways. Clay shooting, fly fishing, horse riding and golf can be organised within a 15 minute drive of the self-catering holiday cottage.

"A peaceful rural retreat"
The holiday cottage is situated in over 10 acres of private grounds, including wild flower meadows and ancient woodland which are a mass of bluebells in the spring. Situated adjacent to the main farm house The Barn remains very private with its own entrance, off road parking space, private garden terrace with BBQ and seating. Children are free to roam across the paddocks and explore the woods and are welcome to feed and collect eggs from our flock of friendly bantams (available for sale). Tiffany, our pony, though too old to ride, loves to be groomed! Stabling facilities available.
